according to Dennis Dodd at cbssports.com.
Neither AD wanted to be identified due to the "sensitivity of the situation".
Rumors surfaced on Saturday that the Big Ten and Pac-12 would be next in bailing out.

If a P5 back out, it will domino.

I still think it starts but gets shut down. As soon as they open the campuses. Reported cases will skyrocket.

How do you quarantine, in a dorm? How many people, will a patient transmit, Covid, before they get their results back?

It's not good that there is so much debate and division on harnessing this pandemic. I believe is everyone had been on the same page, this virus would be in its last days by now. Now it's just a damn political football by our "leaders".

Its hard to get 350 million ppl on the same page. Especially when the so called experts change their opinions on what to do. Its just one of those things that is going to have to run its course. As for football, I say scrap the season. Who wants to play ball with no fans and many schools either not playing or playing an abbreviated schedule. I'm not even excited about it now

I didn’t see that as the B12 committee but it doesn’t matter and my question was directed to post #6 which I thought was for the XII. Apologies for my confusion

College athletes beginning to sound like the pros. Big change a coming and millions of NCAA fans are going to be turned off by it. Universities will take a financial hit if it gets out of control.

I can see the CFB season being cancelled, and UT claiming to be an undefeated National Champion w/ ESPN supporting the claim on the Longhorn Network.

Right now, it would seem that the Big XII, the ACC and the SEC will move forward with a season. Apparently, the Big Ten commissioner told Nebraska that they would not be allowed to play this fall season. The lawyers might like to get involved, especially if they're college football fans.

I don't see the ACC, SEC, and Big-12 playing this year and today, I don't want them to.
For six months we have fought a war between what we want and what's best for the country, without a definitive answer to what that is.
But right now, it's probably best to mitigate this pandemic to a level that makes everyone safe....to at least err on the side of caution.

If it's the spread of the virus & the health of the players that one is concerned with, I say let'em play or at least try to. My understanding is that the players will be in a much better, safer environments w/ protocols in place as opposed to the stoppage of play, thus allowing the players to run freely around environments that are not nearly as safe. The data shows that the age group of the players are the least likely to create health concerns and issues with Covid.

Tee it up.
