While the refs might not have helped, we were no where near close enough for them to have made a difference
Still producing at a solid level compared to other Big 10 freshmen (especially on a Per 40 min basis). Needs time and experience, but I'm not ready to say he's hit the wall. Speed bump. I'd really like to see him get some of Boo's PG backup minutes, stealing some of Greer's time at that spot.
Berry has a much higher ceiling than Greer. But if the goal is to win now and try to get 6 more conference wins for a shot at the Tourney then I think Greer is a better option.
In a game like Michigan, when Boo was ineffective offensively, I'd like to see what Berry/Audige could do instead of the Greer/Berry combo we saw.
Me too. I thought Berry was a combo guard and could play the point. But not even against the doormats CC gave him some minutes running the show.
Don't see either of those directing the team at this point. Both are more 2s and in the past we have seen how bad it can get with no PG. Berry might develop into that combo but not really there yet
Agree, definitely need Boo out there . Berry might develop but Audige is a shoot first guy, not a typical PG.

The point is that Greer is a better fit there when Boo is sitting and then it can be either of the others. Audige might be better teamed with Greer until Berry starts finding himself
Ty Berry needs more playing time. Politics & people might lie but numbers don't. According to the Big Ten Conference Stats based on every thing he has done for us so far...if he played 40 mins. per game he would average 18.7 POINTS PER GAME. No that's not a typo yes you saw it right '18.7 POINTS PER GAME'. This in not us saying this, this is the world saying this, this is the numbers saying this and once again numbers don't lie. Give Ty Berry more playing time.

No Ty has not hit any wall. I watched Ty play in the TOP 5 BEST BASKETBALL (high school) TEAM in the nation last year as starting point guard and they DOMINATED. I bring this up because when he is missing or gets blocked he just needs to warm up…and when he gets warm he will shoot your lights out, trust me I have seen Ty do it over and over again…this is how he works. Ow also don’t forget he was one of THE BEST POINT GUARDS in the nation last year. Give him more playing time let him warm up and he will give us what we need to WIN.

Patience, my man (or woman). Ty seems to be getting more and more playing time, and I'm just waiting for him to go off. Hopefully against Illannoys.
So he could not have played 5 min against Chicago State? We’ll wait for Buie to get injured to throw him out there for the first time?
Or, it might not. Still unclear why we can't see a Berry/Audige backcourt when Buie is off or out.
This. I think Buie might be a better fit as a 2 than a PG. You could see it last year, Pat Spencer was a much better fit at PG than Buie, had more natural instincts to set other up, drive and dish, etc. It was clear as day. I would be all for Ty Berry at PG and Buie at the 2 and sitting Audige, who I think would do very well to come off the bench and provide a spark as opposed to starting and pressing from the get-go.
So what you are saying is if someone comes along that is better or can assist us to WIN, we should not play him. Because their are 2 point guards ahead of him...I have a question are we here to win basketball games or are we here to please the players? If someone is not getting the job done or needs help get them the help they need...we have already done the hard part by getting a 4 STAR recruit TY BERRY, all that's left to do is put politics aside and let the kid assist with PG position which is his natural position... he is playing out of position right now just think how much more effective he would be if he plays his NATURAL POSITION. We are not saying for him to take over the point guards position we are just saying start putting Ty Berry in as PG for 5mins here & there.
