I know Tyler was originally listed at 141 and has done great so far and filled in admirably with Shayne Van Ness out for the year. I have not seen him on tv yet. Does he look like he could move back down next year to 141 with Beau Barlett graduating? or has he grown since being in college? Must say he and Davis sure look like they can help this team next March!!

Well I certainly have no clue but the eye test tells me he would be hard pressed to compete at 141 (make the weight) his frame appears so much bigger to "grow with" not "cut down to"
My guess is that Beau takes his last year next season and Kasak takes his redshirt and preps for the following season. As of right now Beau has stated in an interview that Tyler could wrestle 141lbs, 149lbs or 157lbs this season without an issue. So my guess is that he is fine as a 149lber this season weight wise.

Can't we just finish this year first? Worry about next years lineup all off season
I think Tyler takes a RS next year. Beau should be back next year and if SVN is healthy I think he goes at 149lbs. Where I think it gets messy is where Facundo fits in. I know he didn't excel down the stretch last season but I still think he's a starter for this team. Managing Facundo/Haines/Messinbrink seems like a challenge to us but I am sure Cael has a plan. I try not to worry too much about these things because Cael always works it out.
This moves 3 or 4 guys from what is likely their optimal weight class. So, no.
Facundo said before the season started that going up to 174 was part of the plan for his shirt year.
