He was dominant in the first half....think he scored 16 in just a dozen minutes or so.

Right now he's being thrown into the fire, so to speak. Rubio is, surprise, surprise, hurt. Sometimes this method of being forced to play someone can backfire early on, but I think it's helping Tyus.

What an awesome recruiting tool to have 3 19 year old former Devils in the league doing well. That's potentially 15-20 years of having those guys on TV and the Duke name along for the ride.

My goodness does that video make me wish he was still wearing Duke blue!!

It is great to see him produce and he is one Rubio injury from these kind of minutes in the regular season.

He may be the most mature young kid we've ever had at Duke. The kid just never ceases to amaze me with his calm , cool demeanor.

Man.. I'm extremely impressed with how well Jah & Tyus are doing offensively against NBA competition.. Neither one of them play like rookies.

Tyus has ice water in his veins, he never gets ruffled and when he does seem to over extend his penetration he has such an ability to find a teammate. He was so great it actually hurts a little watching him play for another team.

Was this his first game?

I believe this was his 2nd game, Topps. His first start was against the Thunder and Russell Westbrook. That one didn't go nearly as well for him...but playing against Westbrook is a problem for anyone.
But Tyus is a competitor and very poised. He bounced back with a terrific game against the Bulls. Stones is definitely a player. I'm looking forward to seeing his growth in the NBA.

Thanks dirt.How is Justice doing

Topps, his first game against Charlotte he played 28 minutes, shot 2 of 9, 0 of 3 from three, 5 of 8 fts, 2 rbs, 3 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers, and 3 fouls. So his shooting wasn't so good, but he did get to the ft line.

His 2nd game was against Orlando and he played 21 minutes, shot 2 of 3, 1 of 1 from three, no ft attempts, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 turnover, 0 fouls. So he shot much better, point production was down, but his efficiency was vastly improved.
I think Justise is going to be special, just a matter of how long it's going to take.

Here's a link to an article (and video) about DWade mentoring him. He's going to get invaluable training to help in his preparation for the future.

Already miss Tyus and still can't believe he won't be at Duke this year! So proud of him for the one year of enjoyment he gave us, and especially proud of the way he represents Duke as a pro. Good luck to you Tyus and best wishes for your future!
Go Duke!!

Minnesota is going to be pretty good the next few years if their young talent progresses as expected.

Wish Jah had a better situation than the one he is in with Philly. That organization is hopeless.

Love Justise's situation with the Heat. Agreed with @OldasdirtDevil that Wade's knowledge will be invaluable for Justise going forward.
