Russia dominated this event. The Khaniev brothers both won gold. The one at 79kg won U20’s last year beating Lockett along the way. He is only 19 and one of the best young Russian prospects. The brother at 97kg just beat Snyder at the last ranking series event and was silver at last years U23 worlds.
Giadarli from Moldova won gold at 70kg. Giadarli was the U20 runner up last year losing to Duke in the finals. He also took bronze at U23 worlds last year. He beat Eltemirov from Russia in the finals. Eltemirov was silver 2 years ago at U23 worlds and won gold at U23 Euros last year.
