Been a big MMA fan for 20-25 years , watched many a PPV , always recorded the prelim's , followed several fighters .. but since the move to ESPN plus I haven't watched a fight .. I loathe ESPN and dont even know for sure what ESPN plus is ( Internet Only ??) whatever , I'm not paying for it and not signing up . Anyone else lose interest with this move to Espn ?

Hate MMA, but if you quit watching it because it moved to ESPN than you are cutting of your nose to spite your face. ESPN Plus is internet only and it's pretty cheap. My guess is that if you bought 2 PPV's per year it would cover you ESPN Plus for the year.

After their Duke dick move, I will only watch teams I care about on their Puke channels. No more cornhole, or darts, or late night curling. (Unless it's the Swedish women's team. Or Korea's. Or Japan's....nope. No more. That's it. No others.) Do they televise lingerie wrestling?

Agree with you, OP. The move to ESPN has sucked. But...

I've never bought a PPV, nor will I buy an ESPN+ subscription. I'll just watch the fight card (recorded on DVR) a couple months from now when they air it to fill some time.

Bare knuckles fighting looks pretty legit

Has zero to do with the small amount of coin , I just hate supporting ESPN and the move to make everyone pay for fight nights that have been free for 3 decades . Another subscription, another password, hell of a lot of hassle instead of just turning the tube on .

If you don't want to support ESPN, that's fine and I get it. All I'm saying is that you can have every PPV they have for a grand total of $60 per year. I will probably start paying for it next hockey season. I'm a Capitals fan and it seemed like 90% of the games they played last year not on other channels was on ESPN Plus.

I'm a massive fan of the sport and I watch every event. It was $50 for the year for espn+ for me. It gets all of the non PPV events that would normally be on fs1. The events that were on Fox are now on espn. Even with the espn+ you still have to pay $60 for the PPV. This is where it does suck. I paid for the ufc 236 a few months back and it was a pain in the *** to get working. Getting the PPV through the espn+ app sucks. I just wish ppv was done the way it' used to be. I dont mind paying for it but it needs to run smoothly. I couldn't get it to connect to my tv and I had to screen share it off my tablet which was a laggy mess. It ruined my experience and I will be watching all PPVs at bw3 from now on until these issues are resolved. The main take from this is that the espn+ is good for the free events but it sucks for buying a ppv.

Dana milked all he could out of it. It’s been 2 years since I’ve watched, and the year before that was pretty bad.

I used to be a huge MMA UFC fan, but the sport has become way to watered down. Too many events and too many divisions. I remember there used to be only lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. The fights were a lot better and every time there was an event you knew fighters on the entire main card. Now the only fights that are good are the main events. I miss old ufc and pride.

Only problem i have with the move is this, Fight Night all of it used to be on Fox for free. Now ESPN just shows the prelims, then when the main card starts, you have to watch it on ESPN+. It is not expensive, but not paying $4.95 just to watch the same Fight Night that was free on Fox.v PPV are PPV's none where free.
