UK has to continue to improve overall and develop a passing game. Game is a long way off.
I agree. But I'm not sure UGA is that much better than Vandy, and we beat Vandy. We will have a shot to beat them.
Hopefully we can take advantage of it for once.

There is more parity in the SEC East then most UK fans think. We will know more about Tenn. today, after they play Bama. All the other teams in the East are on par with UK, including Georgia.

Vandy is clearly better than UGA. They just went into Athens and humiliated them.
I think we can run on them for sure. I hope our passing game improves enough before that game. I would love to beat UGA this year.
Parity isn't necessarily a good thing when its caused by poor play.

As down as I have been on this team winning 7 is still a real possibility. It has to start Saturday with a game we should win but then Mizzou and UGA are still very winnable. Only UT and UL are long shots.

Stoops is headed for another pre-mature extension. Problem is, the teams he's getting wins against are all rebuilding.
TN losing today means nothing. They will win out and win the east at 6-2. Losing to the best team in the country won't tell me anything about UT. They are what they are.

It really is. Never thought I would be saying that but it is. GA is not awful but they are very ordinary. FWIW, a number of the pre-season power rankings had GA only a mild favorite in their early rankings. I could not understand that but here we are.
I had previously called the SECE a 2 division division with GA, TN and FL in the upper group. GA now falls to that second division. It is appearing more and more the 2016 SEC is looking like AL and everybody else.

Vandy scored a season high today in SEC play. If their guy doesn't drop that pass in the end zone, they would have gotten it last week.

These next three games give Stoops and the team the opportunity to flip the script from the past few seasons. Taking them one game at a time, UK has a shot to win any one of them or all of them. OTOH, they also could lose any one of them or all of them. Fingers crossed for a 3-0 run going into the game against UT.

Having said that, I never bought the Smart hype. Saban is such a control freak - especially when it comes to defense - it's hard to tell how much the assistants know.

Getting back to the UGA game.....winnable yes, but I prefer to take them one at a time.
Beat MSU then we look at Mizzu...I like some of the changes we have seen with the D....getting a passing game that is (getting the ball in the playmakers hands) and keep the running game working could make this an interesting 2nd half of the season.
I agree that vandy gift wrapped us that win. But we would've never been in that position if one of our 7 players who were closer to the ball than anyone on Vandy recovered the muffed punt. Was a very pathetic play that we didn't recover that punt. But you're right, vandy gift wrapped us that with the wide open TD drop. They pulled a UK.
Anything is possible but with how our defense has played lately, I'm not sure Georgia can score 3 TDs on us. They only scored 24 (if I recall correctly) on us last year with our defense being much worse.
