Ye have little faith on this board.No this is not the year Io_a gets their W back.In a battle of two putrid offenses the Cats make one less miscue than our opponent and take the last game of the year at Ryan Field 13-9.
If Robinson is healthy and Marty starts, I’m predicting this to be the very Fitz-like win against a ranked opponent that no one expects.

NU 24, Iowa 17. Everyone has given up on this team but not me. Our D steps up against a below average Iowa offense. And our O finds a way to score just enough to end our misery. And we travel to Madison next week with some real hope.
I believe in Fitz Hates Iowa, Marty and Kubs making a FG.

I think a lot will depend on whether and how much Marty and Robinson play. If they are both healthy and play reasonably well, I can see a 21-17 NU victory. But I think the more likely outcome is a 27-14 Iowa win.
Score matters not in this one. No matter what, it will be a defensive game unless Marty and Mr. Robinson can come out to play. Low scoring affair for sure, unless Marty, Robinson, can work some magic and help keep the Hawk D honest.
This might be about right. I say Iowa 17, NU 7 if Marty does not start, as Iowa's offense is also pretty bad. If Marty starts, it is more of a toss-up, with Iowa still a slight favorite, say around 20-17.
Despite what CMT thinks, I will be rooting hard for the 'Cats.
How about a handle change then? You would have my deepest message board respect if you changed to something like “ReformedHawkeye”, or “CatFromIo_a”.
Just imagine if I became BuckeyeCat. Brutal to think about.
It seems you haiku'd a dismal result. You got laid or something in the meantime, had a change of heart?
I just pick the Cats to win 49-3 every week.

I do. They work too hard for me not to care. Football is hard. Hours and hours and months and months of seriously hard work, getting hurt and having to fight through real pain every day... I care.
