UK’s incoming class of offensive linemen is impressive, even by SEC standards

i saw some site "sds maybe" had UK's oline class ranked around #4 or #5 in the sec this year. that is getting it done.

Based on the star ranking above we should be #1 in the SEC.

Not exactly -
- Bama's has 2 "5 star" guys
- Ole Miss & LSU have multiple guys committed, so they may be ranked better overall due to depth

I'm not saying I agree with it necessarily b/c more isn't always better, but it's at least one reason why this list of ONLY 4 & 5 star commits may not be the same ranking as an "Overall quality of OL class"

Either way, it's just good to see Stoops & Co. in the conversation for a top class along EITHER line of scrimmage.

Seems like 1 5star and 2 high-quality 4-stars (both of whom ALA recruited), and a solid 3-star would be right up there at the top.

I think the Cats are near the top, but Ole Miss, for example, has 6 OL commits, one of which is a 5 star guy. So, I can see why someone may see that as a better overall class if you consider depth, etc., even if I don't necessarily agree.

Personally, on paper as of TODAY, I'd put it 2nd behind Bama & ahead of aTm.

Either way - a great haul for UK. Games in the SEC are won in the trenches.

If the list at the top is correct there are only four SEC teams with two or more four star and above OL, and only UK has three, plus one of ours is a five star and one is a 5.9. so it is easy to see UK in the top two or three. On paper, at the very least. But Bama has two other 5.7 commits, that could be underrated like we think George is, and Ole Miss has the five star and five more, but none of them are four stars apparently. We are certainly in the competition for the top spot in the SEC.

Amazing.

Another good thing about this class is it has one player at four different spots - 2 tackles (R&L), 1 guard and 1 center.
