Daxter Miles already planted the first seed. He's already in their heads as they are getting severely butt-hurt by a player thinking he'll win. I guess players can no longer think they can win. This is a big reason why UK hasn't lost. Everyone is scared of them, nobody wants to play them. Game is over before it starts due to psychological factors alone.

UK needs this to get fired up? My oh my, that shows their character. They are mentally fragile. They are playing for a Perfect season and 9th NCAA Championship, yet they need a freshman from WVU to fire them up? That's pretty sad.

And then you have the UK media who is severely shocked and upset that WVU believes they can actually win. I stated many times in other threads, UK is the most arrogance fanbase in all of sports. They are so damn arrogant, that they are shocked that WVU players actually believe in themselves and think they can win. How dare WVU players have confidence and believe in themselves.

I'm losing a lot of respect for the UK fanbase. They have the #1 team in the country with a record of 36-0 and practically the whole country thinking they'll win, yet they come to our message board (not even in the smack talk forum) to run their mouths about how bad they'll beat us. It's sad that they feel the need to overcompensate in such a way. I thought they were better than that.

I bet Huggins got rattled when he read that. Huggins is old school.He hates that kind of talk. Huggins is not going into that game with a thought of losing That way of thinking is why he is a HOF coach.

Nobody has ever won as many games on the hardwood. Lol Naismith you know the guy who invinted basketball taught all he knew to the baron Adolph Rupp. WV hired Catlett just because he sat on the bench with Rupp. Im 54 and alot of good fans are little old women and anybody over 70. You all are bringing your own team down like beating ky is beating nobody. WV has a shot at being the most talked about,team in the country if they win. If ky loses they could care less what people say because it has to put up with big blue nation. I think ky has fine young men and dont deserve to be mauled by the radicals.

I don't think anybody is upset that miles thinks that you all will win. I think the UK fans are flabbergasted that your team would say that we don't play hard. The team holding opponents to the lowest fg% in the shot clock Era doesn't play hard? How is that even possible?

Our players don't care. Andrew Harrison basically laughed it off. WCS said it was extra motivation, but that's it.

UK is beating top 35 teams by an average of 19.6 points. We are beating teams ranked 36-100 by an average of 12.6 points. The better option is definitely to fly under the radar against UK.

I hope WVU turns the game into a brawl just like the Flyers do every time they play the Penguins.

Works pretty well for the Flyers as they have owned the Penguins in recent history. Speaking of Flyers, Penguins play them twice next week. Chalk that up as 2 automatic losses for the Penguins.

I, like most fans, am simply stunned that you have a player that thinks it's a good idea to taunt a team that's 36-0. I guess it is West Virginia though...

UK is 36-0. They don't need a bench warmer trash talking to motivate them. The goal from the beginning of the season has always been a national championship. They aren't going to lose focus this late in the journey. Miles' comments about not playing hard only adds fuel to the fire that already existed.

We will find out tomorrow night because these kids are going to bring if for 40 minutes. If we lose so what? We were supposed to lose.
If we win, you program will be the joke of college basketball for years,,,again.

All I know is it should be fun and I'm looking forward to it. I don't expect anyone to be afraid to play Kentucky, especially not a team coached by Huggins. We've heard time and time again how much heart other teams have and how they are going to play for 40 minutes and thus far nobody has been able to come away with a W. Talk is cheap and it will all be settled on the floor tomorrow night in Cleveland.

We've seen the shirts. So far, hype is undefeated.



To say Kentucky doesn't have heart is ignorant. You don't start 36-0 and have the best statistical defense in 50 years without heart.

Daxter NEVER said UK doesn't play hard. He said that UK doesn't play as hard as them which is 100% true. WVU probably plays harder than any other team in the country. Why? Because they don't have the talent and skill level as many teams. They win by outworking them and out-hustling the opposition. They have to play harder than most opponents to win.

ky had dominated the sec in bb longer than alabama has in football.Ky was the top program in the country when bear bryant was coaching football at ky. Rupp gets a rolls royce and bear got a watch.Dads stepbrother played for rupp when uk beat seattle and elgin baylor for the title in 58 or 59. Billy ray cassady and lead tiny inez ky to a state title. best player ever out of eastern ky was KING KELLY COLEMAN who went to wv. got in trouble played in the nba awhile. look it up.
