Picked up in an auction. Person used to own a bar in Covington, KY that closed in early '90's..

It is clearly very old and can see original paint chipping away.

No clue of it's origin but wondering if anyone from Memorial Coliseum days would remember something like this outside of a ticket window or something. For all I know it may just be something made to hang in the bar...nonetheless, thought I'd ask.

Pretty cool imo.

I don't remember that particular item, but I sure remember Cotton Nash ! He has always been my favorite U.K. b'ball player. I graduated from high school in 1965. Cotton played at U.K., as you know, 1962-64. As some of y'all old-timers will also recall, Cotton was a three-time All-American !
A friend of mine who graduated from my high school in 1963 went to U.K. He got Cotton's autograph for me while Cotton was playing there ! But, after two divorces and three moves after my third marriage ... I lost the autograph ! Major bummer ... but, hey, what is it they say -- into every life a little rain must fall. I've been married to my third wife for 32 years, so the amount of "rain" associated with losing the autograph doesn't amount to much, in the whole scheme of things, I guess. But I sure wish I hadn't lost Cotton's autograph ! ! !
Nevertheless ... Go 'Cats ! ! !

Speaking of memorabilia, I'm starting to think about selling any or all of the following if anyone is seriously interested:

1 - Antoine Walker's 1996 ncaa championship ring (sold to me directly when he filed for bankruptcy)

2 - Johnny Cox's 1958 ncaa championship ring w/ signed letter from Johnny attesting to authenticity

3 - Game-used net from the 1958 ncaa championship game in Seattle worn around Vernon Hatton's neck after cutting it down w/ signed Hatton note and PSA/DNA certificate of authenticity

Lots more, but these are the high ticket items that I'd consider selling.

I just bought a Tubby bobblehead signed.

I now have Rupp, Hall, Pitino, Tubby and Cal signed memorobilia which is pretty cool.

Search Adolph Rupp bobblehead on eBay. There are two for sale.

I’m interested in the rings but don’t know how to contact you privately.
