I don't remember that particular item, but I sure remember Cotton Nash ! He has always been my favorite U.K. b'ball player. I graduated from high school in 1965. Cotton played at U.K., as you know, 1962-64. As some of y'all old-timers will also recall, Cotton was a three-time All-American !
A friend of mine who graduated from my high school in 1963 went to U.K. He got Cotton's autograph for me while Cotton was playing there !
But, after two divorces and three moves after my third marriage ... I lost the autograph ! Major bummer ... but, hey, what is it they say -- into every life a little rain must fall. I've been married to my third wife for 32 years, so the amount of "rain" associated with losing the autograph doesn't amount to much, in the whole scheme of things, I guess. But I sure wish I hadn't lost Cotton's autograph ! ! !
Nevertheless ... Go 'Cats ! ! !
