Another decommit today but according to the experts over there, the remaining guys are all great and better than our whole class. They're putting the UofL game in the auto win column next season; "Surely, we can't sleep on UL, but we should beat them
handily...well less talented than we are" Hoo hah this is good.

Honest assessment. UK football is now an afterthought as a UofL football fan. At one time when UofL was building the program up with Howard at the helm, getting UK on the schedule was important and the Cards needed them.

Today however, the Cardinal athletic program in general and especially the Cardinal football program has outgrown the need for UK. The Cardinals have their seat at the Power 5 table and there is absolutely NOTHING UK can do now to keep the Cardinals down. They tried and they tried and they tried to keep the Cardinal athletic department in check, but the leadership of Tom Jurich along with the incompetence of Mitch Barnhardt has seen the Cardinal athletic department leave UK's in the dust.

Now the UK fans are left wondering how it happened and why all of a sudden, the UofL game is more important to them, than the UK game is to UofL. How did that happen? Strong UofL leadership combined with total ineptness at the helm at UK.

Sorry guys. Last year UK fans claimed our class was great, and your wasn't. However, you supported Zipps claims that they were a push according to the average star ranking. How does it look this year?

UK- 5.6466
UL- 5.5875

Before you guys start, I wasn't being serious with the above. Our class really has fell apart. I expected to lose a few, but nothing to this magnitude. Hopefully the guys we have returning can show some improvement this year(bowl game), if so we should be able to turn that into a solid recruiting year.

Several thoughts...
I don't think your averages include transfersComparing averages alone assumes you have your schollies filled. LPT is graduating 21 seniors if the roster I looked at is accurate. And I think you had a junior declare. Your 2015 recruiting class only has 15 players.A "push" isn't good enough for LPT. You need a talent advantage to compete with teams like U of L which have a coaching advantage.
Nothing wrong with the quality of LPT's incoming recruits, nor was there when Joker recruited players.

Yes but those 15 are "Bigger, stronger and faster" so it is really like getting 30 commits.
