Hope they hit their goal. I gave last month but I started up a subscription today.
I agree and it sucks but I love basketball and can spare tickets to a game or two I won’t make to help us compete.
The vast majority will. We can’t complain if we get outbid if we don’t support though, we don’t have a rich base like some schools, nor major company interests like a Fed-Ex or Wal-Mart in our school.
Not going to donate a dime to kids making more money that I do when some of the better OL get 50k just to visit. Where is the coal industry, horse racing/casino monopoly ?
As long as there is St Jude and sick kids..none of my paycheck will go to NIL. I don't even have season fb tickets anymore

Kind of how I feel. The University makes a ton of money off it's BB and FB teams and I make squat. When game admission becomes free I'll reconsider. Until then I'll leave it to the institutions making a profit from the players to take care of their cost.
I got barred from Cats Pause 3 times for calling some of his followers, "Cal Suckers." He was a Snake Oil Salesman, and was only interested in putting Black Players in the NBA, after one year.

‘Donating’ to NIL is for suckers.
The UK Board of Trustees and athletic director just spent $37 million to convince Mark Stoops to simply walk away and do nothing for the athletic department or university. And at the same time they expect/demand that ordinary, hard-working people like us gift them millions of dollars every year so that it can be handed over to college athletes for… [wait for it] … simply being college athletes. Seriously, I’m not making this stuff up! And worse yet, there are “Always a Cat” people eagerly sending in their money! I’m among those who refuse to pay for any of this.

UK supposedly pays one notable player almost $2 million to sit on the bench. So we need to donate to the recovery "home for injured athletes" until they get to the NBA? If they're going to be paid they need to be eligible to be fired.
I wouldn’t donate one penny of my hard earned money to these spoiled prima donnas. UK can shut the program down for all I care. This NIL is the ruination of college sports. Screw em all is what say. Greed has been the downfall of many civilizations over time and this is where we are headed. There are no rules in basketball anymore. I have been following the cats since 1958 and we are not even playing the same game anymore. It’s awful. I surely don’t need it. There are more important things in my life. Screw the NCAA.
