UK Softball hosting regional....

this weekend for 2nd year in a row. UK (44-15) plays Ohio U (32-24), while James Madison (44-13) takes on DePaul (41-9) in what looks to be a pretty tough regional, with 3 teams having over 40 wins.
UK is the #14 national seed, and if they should win the Lexington regional, would most likely travel to Los Angeles to face the #3 national seed UCLA in the best of 3 Super Regionals.
Action starts in Lexington Friday with JMU and DePaul @ 5:00 pm followed by UK vs Ohio U @ 7:30 pm.

Haha it never is easy on the softball field but Coach Lawson has done outstanding. Would love to see them at least make a super regional.

She basically IS the UK softball program. They were pretty pathetic until she was hired. Would love to see them break thru and get to the WCWS in Oklahoma City. It will happen sooner or later, hopefully sooner !!

About 3-4 years ago I saw UK playing in the NCAA tournament on ESPNU and for whatever reason I watched. I actually really enjoyed it. I enjoy watching the tournament games. This time of year is somewhat of a slow sports time and the softball games are something to keep me entertained. Thinking about checking out the games this weekend.
