I heard on national radio today that UK lady swimmer Brittaney Grimes, who has just graduated, spoke out re the University of Pennsylvania's nominating their transgender swimmer, Leah Thomas, for the college women's swimming
award entitled "Woman ot the Year." She says Leah Thomas is not a woman and should not participate in this award which
is designed to recognize women swimmers for their achievement in community and school as well as swimming.
It was interesting to realize how such issues which the media uses to promote a "narrative" is affecting the University of Ky. women's athletes. It is interesting as well that UK has an athlete who does not fear sharing an opinion which does not support this narrative and has the character and courage to oppose these actions that take away from women's accompishments within "women's sports."

Anyway, Riley was nominated for woman of the year by UK...way to be a fan.

Partisan ideology is a hell of a drug I guess. I'm supposing your rebuttal is to automatically think everyone is transphobic or hates trans when they don't because you aren't interested in hearing what they actually say. I got that right?

You guys really enjoy logging on daily to complain about the trans community. You all both minimize them while propping them up as the new frightening thing we should all be terrified of. Take a day off from thinking about the LGBTQ community. I'm willing to bet they're not obsessed with you as you are with them.

It could be that these things are *actually* happening and that this is a bridge too far for some, but hell, I’m sure it’s just right-wing bigots that are concerned.

Why does it matter where it was/is being reported? It happened and is happening all over.

Are you saying you are okay with men competing in women's sports?

You're doing the stumbling. It's the real woman at UK who your friends stumble around to meet your agenda. Of course we should be sympathetic....he may be pregnant. Of course we can't define what a woman is seems like. How do you define a transgender man wanting to defeat a woman. Why he's probably Tarzan him or herself competing against Jane.

Answer? I think it's silly. I also think creating a variation of this same thread every few weeks is silly as well. There's not a week that goes by where one of you isn't having an online conniption fit over gays or trans people. My advice? This isn't your Facebook page. Enjoy life as best you can and stop worrying about this ****. You guys say the word "woke" more than the people who actually consider themselves woke. And for a few in this thread: maybe stop watching douchebags like Tucker Carlson. It's his job to make you feel angry and fearful of the world around you. It's his job to make you feel as though you're the normal one, and it's the world around you that's messed up.

I don’t mind a lot of talk hosts, left or right. A lot just want to be heard and present sides. Tucker on the other hand has become about as mean and ugly as you can get. I used to like him and have respect for him. Not anymore.

Another day, another story to spark faux outrage amongst the typical Charmin soft, safe space seeking, triggered snowflakes.

If you trouble yourself to read the entire story, and not just the headlines, you’ll learn that Grimes herself was nominated for this Woman of the Year Award….

….along with FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX other ladies. Nothing is being taken or stolen from her, and she has zero chance of winning anyways. Please, I beg of you all. Turn off the Lamestream, Enemy of the People, Fake News Media and just relax a bit. Clay Travis and Tucker Carlson are playing you like a fiddle. This, as always, is a complete non story.

It should be a non story. Ron Swanson won woman of the year a number of years ago and I didn't hear a peep from Tucker about it. Not sure why this is all of a sudden cultural flash point.

Yeah, I don’t like him nearly as much as I used to. Dude was on fire leading up to and just after the 2020 election. Now, he’s simply angry all the time at just about everything.

Jesse Watters is more of the happy warrior that I like to listen to.

I even like Mark Levin. He gets a little ranty sometimes but loves history and is usually pretty fair.
