I think no powerful P5 program (like Zona, USC, UCLA and UK) gives him starter guarantee, so he returns to school for bigger role
Hopefully this means we're sitting pretty with Pierre and/or Yates.
Yes, I like the idea of getting one of them. It also ensures that Pope won't have to start any freshmen next year.
I love the idea of potentially returning Lewis, Johnson, and Moreno for a second season.
Damn it , Casey needs to learn to stop exaggerating things, we contacted him, we did not "heavily Target " him. I think its more than obvious our "heavy target" are Yates and Pierre.

It would depend on the circumstances of why we didnt get them. If we dont land one of the guys following our coaches and players (one following Kentucky ladies) then I would wonder if they asked for too much and Pope has way too much confidence in Chandler or something.
but as far as the San Fran kid, a zoom call means see if the kid is a fit for who he wants in the program, not I zoomed you so I am offering you a scholly (which I would say offering a scholarship is the line to consider someone heavily targeted)

Its only a pattern if we miss on guys like Pierre/Yates as well. Honestly if we got news that Riley had committed to UK tonight I probably would feel worse because that would tell me we're not getting either of those guys (who are better than Riley imo)
It's for freshman and transfers combined. And the school's ahead of us look to be losing a lot more than us, especially Duke. We are in excellent shape.

Pierre is following some UK sorority girls and one who's not but graduated from UK 3 years ago she told some one on twitter. Both players are following some coaches and players on the team, Yates is following is former AAU team mates obviously.
If you don't agree with every move Pope makes you must be miserable. Reminds of Cal fans cussing me out for not liking some of his moves.

Probably, but don't we prefer Pierre or Yates?? Don't think it'd be realistic to get one of them and this guy, so feel like any meltdown over this guy specifically doesn't make any sense to me. If you're gonna be upset wait until we strike out on those 2 guys. Makes more sense imo
We are likely only accepting 2-3 more portal pieces per reports. We are nearing the finish line and almost completely done for the season. I wish people understood we have 10 signed players already.
When was the last time you had anything to say about the recruits or Pope for that matter? I'm not referring to your attacks against others here.
