Interesting team dynamic this season is that they seem to have a will to hang on in SEC games. We couldn't complete the comeback from a bad start against Samford but we can hold off Auburn. It is like they know which games really count. They are carving out an SEC record that will be impossible to downplay when the NCAA tournament comes around.
They are. SEC teams look at them as a chance to give their pitchers who don't play on the weekends a chance to get some game experience, so that they can move up. The "mid major" opponents look to make a name for themselves by beating an SEC school. To use a Calipari quote, it is their "Super Bowl".
