UK vs BSU game 2 Saturday.....

Cats EXPLODE today after blowing a 3 run lead going to the 9th inning yesterday. Final UK 24 Ball State 1.
UK gets 19 hits, while Chandler Shepherd goes 7 innings, 2 hits, 2 walks 8 strikeouts, 1 run. Rubber game tomorrow @1:00 pm at the Cliff.

Excellent game today. Pretty upset at the loss yesterday though. Two errors by Kuhn in the 9th and 10th innings doomed us. Our defense in the infield has been a bit lacking this year. Kuhn already has 6 errors and has a fielding percentage of .870. Just need to clean that stuff up a little mit more. Still, you have to LOVE 24 runs. Not sure that we have put up that many in quite a while.

Yeah won BIG today. Our defense and bullpen have been a little shaky, also at times our base running has been lacking also. Gotta love the hitting however, been terrific all year so far !

24 runs?!? I guess they were mad about yesterday. Won't hurt their offensive numbers any. I wonder what Kentucky's record for double digit run games is? They have 6 already.
