3 run homer in the bottom of the first gets the bat cats going early. Hage worked a HBP in a long at bat. McCoy with a nice liner single to center left. Runners on first and third with two outs and Hansen goes Oppo taco on the first pitch to put the cats up 3-0.

Going to second inning.

The most frustrating thing about this team is that we make the same mistakes over and over again. Today, we waste a golden scoring opportunity in the third b/c hage can't get back to third and gets tagged out. instead of 1st and 3rd with 1 out, we get nothing.

Upstate proceeds to tie it up. Now it's 3-3 in the bottom of 4.

Why run yourself out of the inning there? With two outs you’re no better off being at 3rd than 2nd. Just stupid. But, typical. Crap like this is why I can’t stand Mingione, regardless of the last 3 years. His dumbass base running calls & stuff like bunting with 2 outs & the bases loaded, having the clean up hitter bunting & his moronic, senseless batting orders drive me insane. It’s like a 9 year old playing a video game with zero baseball common sense. I’ve seen adult softball league coaches with a better handle of the game.
