I really was not even thinking about him being in the rotation. I will be surprised if he ever returns to the 2 deep. Hope he heals and reaches his potential.

He's looking more and more like a Josh Clemons type guy. Really talented, but injured. Hope he bounces back and plays D1 again. Guy was a damn good option in the few times he's played.

What is really sad is how he blew the knee the first time (a TD celebration...).

Hope this kid finds his way back into D-1 football, soon.

He'll probably be placed on a medical scholarship and will never play again at UK or graduate this year and transfer if he wants to try to continue his playing career.

We just need to let him go so we can free up a WR spot.

I was excited when he committed but he's too injury prone. Like the poster above me said, there's a good chance he leaves after this season anyway.

He had some talent but he's been recruited over in the slot even when healthy. Johnson Timmons and Walker all better options

Gotta disagree. Much better hands than Johnson or Timmons. Bigger and faster than Walker. I'd take a healthy Montgomery over any of these three!!!!!!!!!

We will have to disagree because he wasn't playing over those guys when he was healthy.

All due respect to Montgomery but his hands aren't better than Garret Juice Johnson's... Juice made a lot of impressive catches last year.

Edit: And I'm not even sure about Timmons either... Coach LT has been saying good things about him this year. He's becoming a leader.

He has been recruited over. Seriously doubt he plays any significant snaps at UK ever again. It's a shame because he has great hands, but injuries have completely derailed him.

Like many of us posted months ago, doubt the kid ever plays another meaningful down. Wouldnt surprise me at all to see him never suit up again. Sad and hopefully he proves me wrong.

Still remember the freak TD celebration injury. Just awful luck

He has the best hands on the team, without question. Kid can really play when healthy.
