What are your thoughts on the schedule this year? Do you see any games that will be harder than they look on paper?

MSU without one of their best starters Langford out that game seems a little easier, and with an easier non-conference schedule we won't really see a good game until conference play.

I think going into conference play we should have a really good record. How many games do we drop in conference play?

I think you just never know about this stuff. Some games end up being tougher than anyone expected. You probably would’ve gotten crucified on here last year if you predicted an L @ Bama.

I’ll say this is a 14-4 team in conference, maybe 13-5. Probably lose 7-8 games on the season.

It is impossible to predict how these young men will play each night.........we have all seen players disappear during the season only to turn it back on in the tournaments...

Ohio State and MSU plus Louisville are a nice set of opponents. RPI wont be an issue. Also a few games that should allow Cal to give some minutes to bench. Starting with MSU in early November gets the season rolling early. Get football bowl eligible and there is a lot to look forward too.
