Tuesday March the 8th. spring game April 16. I really am looking forward to this years team. I think we will see major improvements across the board. Players as well as coaches. Could be an exciting Year for UK Football. I am pumped for a bowl season, which I believe we will attain.

I always try to get down there for the B/W game. I would hit a few practice sessions if they were not (a) closed and (b) in the morning. I suppose they will have the same policy again this year. Anybody know?

Peace

Kentucky to go 15-0 and president Bernie decides that New Mexico State to visit the White House instead. Got to share that wealth and give the small football team the benifits that would go along with going 15-0.

I think 6 is possible. 7=8 is still in reach with 9 making me crazy. But if we were to get lucky enough to get 15, we would not be invited to the White House if Barney or Bernie were to get in. There would more than likely not be a White House left by then. He would have already given it away to Mexico.

Booooooooo!....another Trump bigot:thumbsdown:

Perhaps his priorities are just different than yours. It doesn't make him a bigot nor does supporting Bernie make one a commie. There is no reason that people can't have opposing views without calling each other names. To resort to name calling suggests that you do not have the knowledge or ability to defend your own views and name calling is all you have to had. This applies to supporting a candidate, a social issue or even a sporting team.

Hey I didn't bring the politics to a football board.

Trump says openly racist things. He isn't hiding it or tip-toeing around. He is an open bigot, so if you support him you support bigotry. That isn't name-calling it's the truth. He wouldn't even argue the point with the you, he's completely open and honest about it.

Example? Or should we just take your word for it?

And to stay on topic, if a coach or player says something controversial and you like that team or player, does that mean that you agree with them?

Women: “You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ***.”
Hispanics: "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending the best. They're not sending you, they're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. ..."
Jews: “The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yamakas every day.”

And that's just a cursory google. Also to your point about coaches and players, we don't vote for coaches and players so you we aren't tied to their opinions. But a political candidate you vote for, specifically giving them your endorsement. That's what voting is.

Just about exactly what I was expecting. Like way too many Americans, you hear a sound bite from somebody on TV or the internet and take the bait hook, line and sinker. Its really not that hard to figure this stuff out. You simply have to listen to what the candidate says and process it rather than listening to what somebody tells you he said. I am not trying to defend Trump or support him in any way. I am only pointing out how somebody's lack of understanding turns into an ill-advised personal attack about politics on a sports forum. So let me spell this out for you.

Women: He is saying that a major news organization like should hire a reporter based on her journalistic skill instead of because she is a beauty queen. Do you disagree?

Hispanics: He is saying that the people who come into our country from Mexico should have to apply and go through the same screening process as people who come here from other countries all over the world. Do you think we should continue to let them come in illegally?

Jews: He says they are good with money and prefers them to handle his. I am not sure how that is an insult to Jewish people. Do you think they are upset he said that? They probably high fived each other when he said it.

I apologize to all my fellow UK fans for subjecting you to this political BS but the hypocrisy of this guy calling people bigots for disagreeing with him was a little more than I could stand. I am done.

You are being deliberately obtuse. He is not a bigot because of his policy views, he is a bigot because of the non-policy inflammatory language he inserts into the discussion. Evidence from just this last post:

1) Women: "piece of ***" He could have said "pretty young thing" or "attractive woman" and gotten his point across just as easily don't you think? He called women pieces of *** on purpose.

2) Jews: "little short guys that wear yamakas every day" That speaks for itself.

Edit: Also this will be my last post on the subject, not a political forum. Just think if you're going to call someone out for name-calling you should have the facts first. Go Big Blue!!
