Did we just witness the worst weekend in program history?

1. Lost two duals to teams ranked lower at home. Including a loss to an unranked team.
2. Upset by rankings in 7 of 20 matches.
3. Zero bonus point wins.
4. Has to be a record low number of total team takedowns in back to back duals.

We did not wrestle well this weekend that’s for sure. But I am confident we will rebound.

Really hate to see such a proud and storied program struggle like this, hopefully it was due to the distractions last week.

Maybe I've got orange-tinted glasses, but c'mon. You can't expect 18-23 year olds to go out and wrestle lights out less than a week after their teammate nearly dies. Who executes their work at a high level when processing a traumatic event like that? IMO we've looked good this year, not outmuscled or outcoached like many posters seem to think. Sure there's things to improve on even before these duals but I'm willing to give these kids a break considering the context of the past week.
