Last year I got into a rather lengthy debate with a UNC grad about what the academic scandal meant about his degree. He scoffed at the idea that it went beyond athletics. Well he obviously didn't look at the big picture. A major accrediting service for Universities has put UNC on probation. Sorry, I posted this from my phone so it might have come out messy.

UNC dodged an accrediting service bullet. I think they still have a NCAA bullet to deal with.

It's just people and organizations being politically correct. The pressure's on publicly, so they have to administer the old slap-on-the-wrist.

I have little respect for any of them. This stuff is mostly in the past. Let UNC get their train all the way back on the tracks...
