I'll just lead off with Sacha-Killeya-Jones.
Durant really jumps out to me. Almost everybody had him to the Heels, and he surprised many with the Texas pick.
Brandon Ingram was a unx lock........now they don't want him.

I'm going old school on you guys...Art Heyman. Huge get for the Blue Devils, plus we stole him from the Heels (signed letter of intent with them)...and from the NY area. It's so funny that the Heels always talk about Duke and the NJ connections, but there was no problem when they were sucking in all that NY talent back then. This really pissed them off.

Very true. But in a likelihood, one will be going to State and one will be joining Duke. That is a special kind of baby blue diaper rash for the holes.

You got that right. And they despise losing a recruit to Duke (for the obvious reasons), but in some ways they hate NC State more than us.

Yeah, somone also told him that Duke isn't real players form Trent jr and Carter.... There isn't a more misinformed fans base in terms of their recruiting than Carolina
Things are so bad for UNC men's basketball right now that they're fans will latch onto the slightest little hint of something positve happening just so they can go into some kind of delusional world where they can pretend that things aren't as bad as they are and so they can forget about how truly bad things are right now.
Didn't you guys hear that Roy had 18 new recruits signed up? Oops my bad! that was 18 offers this year and no recruits signed up so far.
Remember when people on here complained about how we don't cast a wide net like Roy? Good thing I never bought into that.
I understand that Christian Laettner was on the radar for UNC. I understand that his mom cried when he chose Duke over UNC.

I think that referred to the fact that HOF Coach Roy Williams could recruit about any player he wanted to thus the wider net. Coach K just can't recruit the range of players UNC can. I don't need to name players that have played for UNC that just couldn't qualify for Duke. There are quite a few and that's the way it is and the way it always has been even before Coach K came. . Now those players still aren't going to Duke just elsewhere. Once all the scandal is cleaned up our old buddy down on Franklin St. will be bringing them in again. OFC
One thing is for sure: No one is better than turning one and done talent into 3 year second rounders... It's an amazing talent that future kids will like fondly upon.
Well now, Dbav, let's give credit where it's deserved. Roy was able to get the 2nd best falcon off an Iowa high school team.
