I'm sniffing a double-digit loss today. We cannot score. And they are hitting every 3-point like it's a layup.
Only a couple of their 3's were off the press. Most have been in the halfcourt. We are slow closing out on the shooters.
I'd say we press (or are at least very aggressive) even in the half court.

Looks like another less than stellar game from our post play. Struggling with what seems to be lack of desire down in the post. When he struggles, we will struggle.
Lot better energy the last 3 minutes than the first 17. Still, up by 4 points after forcing them to turn it over 12 times.....not good. We should be up larger, but I'll take it for now. Need to stay a game up on Texas since they swept us and have the tie-breaker.
Don't look now, but missed FT's has led this to a 10 point game with OK State 2 FT's to cut in to lead. Good grief.
Were obviously not going to break tendency for a team like OSU, OSU was not likely to come at us with anything out of the ordinary either with their season being effectively over except for the Big XII tournament for a chance to register something of relevance nationally. These types of games, both teams are just playing close to the vest and the best result is no injuries and any type of win, we got that today.
That's BS IMO.
Hard win... ...great game. Teams don't simply go through the motion at this point of the season.

A team like OSU does. You really think we got the same gameplan KU got when they played their earlier in the season and lost? OSU is done, they're running base sets and seeing what they have for next year at this point. They would have taken a W if it was there to be had but a team like theres is checked out mentally until the Big XII tournament.
Agree about Carter. But I felt Myers was pretty good today. Hit his FT's. Knocked down a 3 ball. Didn't force anything. Made a couple super nice passes that if it weren't for Macon, would have been catch and dunks.
My point is not that we went through the motions, my point is that we would not devise any type of overly thought out gameplan for this game. Go out, play hard, win. OSU is belly up, we did what we had to do, thumbs up all around.
Im pretty sure Huggins had some sort of game plan.
There's always scouting reports and prep.
Watch TCU-Baylor, similar situation, I would strongly bet the game script goes similar. Superior talent on Baylor will win out in the second half like our game, TCU will not have anything in their backpocket to try and minimize the talent gap like an outmatched team typically tries at home, they're in next year mode as well.
Oklahoma fans did not show up for the game today due to the threat of a major snow storm. The coliseum appeared to be about 35% of capacity. It appeared that the students couldn't make it either. Huggins was furious!
