Mo stunk up the game. JQ is still adjusting, he doesn't seem strong around the basket.
mitchell was killing us and pope decided to play a bigger guy on him. i'm fine with that decision, mo d couldnt guard him either. but with 4 minutes left you had 3 timeouts and could have used them to sub offense for defense to get a better lineup on the court to prevent blowing the lead. uk was in the double bonus, instead of putting the ball in the bigs hands, just run pick and roll and drive it to get fouled or kick it to oweh or kam....its not hard.

JQ doesn't look like a top 10 draft pick to me, unless you're banking on 100% potential play and stashing him for a year in the developmental league. He is a completely zero on offense and that won't work in the NBA as a big. This isn't 1986.

With the way this class looks I can’t see JQ being drafted in the lottery .
Not just the terrible offense, but allowing them to run their sets and get whatever shot they wanted. Gates destroyed Pope down the stretch.
Leaving Garrison and Moreno in the game wasn’t that egregious by itself. They had given us a spark to get that 8 point lead and both Mo and JQ had pedestrian nights. Trying to run the offense through them on 2-3 crunch time possessions in a row, on the other hand, was coaching malpractice. I have no idea what he was thinking drawing that up.
