Kendall was ripped a new one for short throws. Why not Doege?

Doege has left 2 short and that pick was not only short, but to the inside when it should have been to the outside. The difference between him and Kendall is that Doege hasn't consistently underthrown deep balls in every game he has played and the conditions are kind of crappy. Not saying it's an excuse, but rather that Doege's performance is to this point guys him more leeway since it's not the pattern it was with Kendall.

Luckily one of the last up for grabs was caught for a td and won the game.

What was Brown doing on that last one though- could have cost a hard fought game.

Great win tonight. But there were a couple of throws where Doege could have thrown the receiver open but he threw the ball short and to the wrong side of the receiver.

But the game winner to Edsale was ON THE MONEY.

If WVU would get a rematch against Mizzou next weekend would that game be different.

I say yes.
Especially looking at your last few weeks. WVU was actually a few inches from finishing 3-0 with a bowl game.

That is why Neal Brown deserves credit.

Yet you pissed on WVU today saying TCU is above WVU and would win easily as they do against lesser competition.

I pointed out those games because I wanted WVU fans to realize that maybe they aren't as bad as their record.

If WVU was a bad team TCU would have blown them out.

But WVU found ways to run the ball and to keep TCU off the field.

Not sure the number of plays on either side but it is rather low.

TCU was a 5-6 team needing a win with a college HoF coach who played with the top of the conference. Not to mention a double digit favorite.
Neal Brown took the challenge and won it.

All I did was present the challenge that was in front of WVU.

I’m with Doege too.. I was surprised on his deep balls until that last one for the winning TD.

His best of the day. Perhaps the grass had a lot to do with it or the fog. But he took some shots as well. Or just a bad day overall.
