Successful open-heart surgery for my wife yesterday. A fantastic staff and surgeon said she had been living on fumes and was overdue for repairs. The heart was not damaged, thankfully, so the entire operation concentrated on replacing the blocked arteries, repairing the body to help the healing process, and making sure the heart could continue for a long time.

What is so amazing about the health care industry of today - the staff has her up sitting in a chair as she asked for her phone to call me this morning and make sure I was OK. Our wives, partners, or lovers do give us so much attention - and as I related - it would be devastating to not be with them and enjoy as much of our lives as possible. We will celebrate our 41st anniversary on Sept 22 and her birthday in October - wonderful, as it is not our time yet.

So ... as members of this board provide support and have each other's back -- Thank You for your kindness and compassion.

Wonderful news! Prayer is powerful. Cleveland Clinic is a very good healthcare system. I am in their O.R.'s almost everyday down here in south Florida and their staff and equipment is very good. Praying for a quick recovery and wonderful news everything worked out.

I am glad to hear your wife is doing well. My wife and I will celebrate our second wedding anniversary on 9/22. What a great day!

Praise the Lord! I have been praying for her, the surgical team, and you since the day of your request. Now I pray for a successful recovery and for you as you help her through that process.

My Granddaughter remains in their hospital in Cleveland Ohio. They are outstanding and caring people. God bless your wife.
