Besides looking at our current projected seed, I don't see how any matchups should be of concern. There's so many more games to play, then the conference tourneys.

Even the projections a week away from the selection show are always so far off.

With the way tournaments typically go, VCU would beat Arkansas, then beat Louisville to play us. The committees love these "made for TV" matchups, they get a ton of coverage in the pre-tourney media, then the underdogs in these matchups shake things up.

Funny, but not unexpected, to see a surge in Big Ten teams moving up the seeds. They have what, 18 teams? And he has 10 in his bracket. A decent number of "haves" but a lot of "have nots" allow them to look good on the records and metrics.

As opposed to the SEC, with 16 teams, 13 being good teams, and the other 3 not exactly chopped liver.

There are adults who have graduated college with a Masters degree and been working for a year or 2 that weren't even born the last time the Big 10 won a NCAA title. I think at this point these media guys are just thinking it has to happen sometime.

No doubt in my mind the committee will make our path thru Arkansas (who shouldn't even be in) and UL.
Bring em on. We will curb stomp either one!

Would explode? I don’t see a path that doesn’t have some story line for the cats,
This.

Wisconsin, Duke, any SEC team, StJohns, Baylor, BYU, UCLA, Arizona, Marquette. And on and on and on. Wherever we are, fans will whine it's the toughest bracket and the committee set us up for blank story.

Also. Fine. My favorite part of tourney is the matchups. I want all the old foes and former players.

I don’t see Arkansas making the tournament. They should have at least 14 losses and I can’t see a way where they are in.
I didn’t know that Kansas has had no lower than a 4 seed during Bill Self’s tenure, that is quite impressive.

I’m thinking more Kentucky a 4 and st johns a 5
ya know, I hear ya. I would not be surprised at all. It even SOUNDS more right that way.

... .and personally, I wouldn't be surprised if we could navigate that to a sweet sixteen appearance and BEYOND.....

ya never know ...
