I was expecting to be 6. Tennessee did not look good against Kentuckys backup QB last night.

Funny how #2 OSU loses to #3 team in the country and falls 2 spots from 2 to 4. #3 PSU loses to #4 and we drop twice as many spots. Very typical.

#7 is a generous spot for us. I thought also the pollsters would drop us into the second tier of 10. With sPitt losing to SMU last night, they fell down to 23rd, which is very low for a one=loss team, but very few of their fans will notice it, since they don't even show up for the home games....

Granted the real poll comes out Tuesday but based on the coaches poll, the seeds would be-

1. Oregon
2. Georgia
3. Miami
4. BYU

12 vs 5- Boise St. at Ohio St.
- winner gets BYU

11 vs 6- Alabama at Texas
- winner gets Miami

10 vs 7- Indiana at Tennessee
-winner gets Georgia

9 vs 8- Notre Dame at Penn St.
- winner gets Oregon

First out- Ole Miss followed by LSU and SMU.

Why? A single loss to the #4 ranked team in the country and you thought PSU would plummet?

Notre Dame at #8 is a joke. All of the teams ranked #9 ->> #17 could beat them on a neutral field.

Miami is a fraud. They don’t have a single ranked opponent on their schedule and they got helped out by the ACC refs for two of their wins.
Can’t recall the person, but on Sirius radio channel 84 he referred to it as a “business decision” by the ACC. I kinda like that.

I really hope USC beats them and knocks them out of the conversation.
I hope so but I have a feeling they will have given up long before that game. They are now 4-5 with Nebraska and at UCLA before ND.
