What the committee should be using to help seed teams.

RPI top 8 (hate it, but you know they look at it)

UK, Kansas (hah), Duke, Wisconsin, Virginia, Villanova, Arizona, Gonzaga

BPI

UK, Wisconsin, Virginia, Arizona, Gonzaga, Villanova, Duke, Kansas

Pomeroy

UK, Arizona, Virginia, Wisconsin, Villanova, Gonzaga, Duke, Utah (More proof, in my eyes, that Pomeroy's system rewards low possession teams far too much). Kansas is 9th.

It seems pretty safe to say that the top 8 teams are set. All the systems more or less agree on them. And really, at this point, it's hard to see Wisconsin as anything other than a 1 seed. There's no logical way you put them as a 2, and all systems have them top 4. The real threat for UK in the 2 seed position (in terms of not getting Gonzaga or Kansas, which I think is what we all want) is now clearly the 2nd ACC team, whoever they decide that is.

I hope we can get Utah in our bracket for old times sake. ;)

Stop looking at Espn for rankings. Their RPI is always off from the NCAA version (use cbs) and the BPI is even more useless to quote.

looks like we are getting Virginia as our 2. But, if Wisconsin gets a 1 in the west, we could get Gonzaga because Arizona gets the west 2. BUT, Joey brackets said Arizona is STRONGLY in the conversation for a 1 seed along with Wisconsin.

If Nova loses today, everyone is happy.

Kentucky
Wisconsin
Arizona
Virginia or Duke

And lets be honest, this groups is CLEARLY the top 4 seeds

(not nova, not Gonzaga, not Kansas)

Kentucky Virginia
Wisconsin Maryland(Notre Dame)
Arizona Gonzaga
Villanova Duke

This is how I see it. Maryland has to win or Notre Dame gets the 2. If both lose today then I see Northern Iowa sneaking in that 2.
Unless Kansas wins their tournament, but they should be a 3 seed.

Here's how a non-condescending jackass would have made that post.

"CBS usually has a more accurate RPI than ESPN. They have a top 8 of UK, Kansas, Villanova, Wisconsin, Duke, Arizona, Virginia, and Gonzaga. And there's little evidence that the selection committee looks at the BPI at all, although we don't know that for sure".

Try it that way next time, and you can make your points without me telling you to fold it five ways, bend over, and shove it straight up your rear end.
