Wow, some fun upsets today between Wiscy, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M.

Wisconsin lost at home to one of the worse PAC teams. A&M paid Appalachian State $1.5M to come and beat them at home.

Nothing removes the sting of a loss to Duke. But at least we can take solace in our rivals’s misery.

Iowa lost as well. To their in-state rival, which makes it even worse for them.
Iowa and Wisconsin both look very beatable.

There’s hope for a decent conference record yet if we figure out how to keep opponents’ offenses in check.

Washington State beating Wisconsin was an upset but they were actually in the top half of the PAC-12 last year (finished 2nd in the North Division and one of only 6 PAC-12 bowl teams).

Wisconsin lost to Washington State and their rising head coach Jake Dickert, who was born in Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Stevens Point, coached in the Dakotas and became Washington State's head coach midseason last year...

The Dickert tailgate in Madison was expecting 200 family members, most of whom are serious Wisconsin fans...

What a win for that guy!

Paul Chryst now knows who will be eventually replacing him.

Georgia Southern 14, Nebraska 7 at the end of the first quarter. A lot of game left to play there but... Yeah.

Looks like GaSo is going to head into the half with the lead in Lincoln. GaSo averaging 13 ypc.

Don't forget, Illannoys upset Virginia 24-3. It seems we'll have our hands full with the Fighting Berts this year.

Looks like he's having success at Iowa State. And honestly, RB is probably the position group at NU that I'm least concerned about right now.
Not sure I agree. If Hull goes down to an injury I'm not sure Porter or Claire are good enough

They lost to Indiana. Goes to show... teenagers can't be trusted!!!
Well, Indiana is down 10-0 at the half to Idaho. So….Virginia is probably pretty pretty bad…Temple bad.

And Nebraska is down 38-35 to GaSo, tho GaSo just kicked a chickensh*t sub-20 FG.

He just posted the second-most receiving yards in NU history. But ok.
I am just saying we really do not know. Hull was not our first choice for that year. Don't think he was our second or even 3rd choice. We wanted to have a RB in the class and it came down to a choice between a couple guys that were not offered by other P5 schools and he was the final choice. He has done well with his opportunity for sure. But if we had gotten Brock (our first choice at the time) who knows how he would have been used by us and what he would have accomplished.

Hull has definitely been a diamond in the rough for us and has made coaches look good for choosing him. He has gotten an opportunity here because of injuries that gave him a chance to play and he has made the most of it. That is not saying that regardless of how well he has done for us, we would not still have been better off had Brock chosen to come. We really do not know. Fact is that Brock was our first choice for a reason.( Similar to what we thought of Jenkins this year) In the past we have generally seen that there is a higher correlation between ratings (stars) with RBs than almost any position and Brock was pretty highly rated. And while Hull got the opportunity here, Brock has not been so fortunate at ISU as he found himself behind a guy named Breece Hall who had a couple 1400 plus yard years and ended up as a second round draft pick. Fact is that while Hull got an opportunity here and we should all be very pleased with what he has accomplished, we have no idea of what Brock would have done if given the same opportunity for us that Hull has been able to make the most of
