he did. that's why I decided to not wait for all the upsets I found today, and just post about this one. He was the #2 seed at Cliff Keen LV @ 174, and lost in R1. A roller coaster of a week, for him, it appears.

McNeil is having an awful season. Should have stayed put
Brock Mantanona is the only Wolverine to reach the Semi-finals at CKLV this year.
Who would have thought Michigan would fall apart after Lewan graduated?
Yeah sometimes it’s weird how it works. In McNiels case, he started season at 2. Got beat bad at all star by Swiderski. They moved Swiderski to 2 and made him 3. Larkin then beat up on McNiel and Swiderksi took a bunch of bad losses. So Larkin moved to 2, McNiel remained 3 while Swiderski plummeted to 11 or so. This latest loss should knock McNeil down pretty good I would think

As a reminder of how good Blaze is, he teched Berginc who just beat the #5 guy in the country.
Pitzer is exhibit A about not getting too excited about a few early results.

Taylor was the 5 seed at 2024 NCAAs. He's unranked only because he shirted last year when Trepham transferred from NC State, and this was his first match of this year.

Was curious about him as well and it seems like he's a redshirt senior with former results indicating this kinda of performance
Senior, from Maryland. NQ in 2024, then had a really good shirt year in 2025 (22-4 with close losses to Sinclair, Welsh, and Foca).
Good wrestler but has been inconsistent in the past. At 2024 nationals he beat Foca, then lost to the 29 seed. Etc. Realistic podium candidate if he cleaned that up.
