Apparently, urban knew about some violence going down with an assistant ex coach of his and failed to report it. Some are calling for him to be canned. If Izzy can survive pediphiles at Michigan state, will urban survive his ex coach beating the hell out of his wife and not reporting it? Most say he’s done. What day you?

I thought the abused wife had reported it to the police before the Meyer family knew anything about it.

Meyers problem is it dates back to 2009. But the coaches wife didn’t tell urbans wife till 2015. You have to figure she told urban even though he denied any knowledge. He had to know, which is why he’s on leave

The only reason that this matters is that the assistant coach's wife was a university employee. According the Ohio State policy, he was required to report it if he knew about abuse of another employee. If she wasn't an employee, no problem for Urban. I see a wrist slap coming.

From what I read the issue may also be he was questioned about it at media days and said he didn't know anything about it and therefore couldn't report it but text messages have surfaced which indicate he did know and just lied about not having knowledge of it.
