That must be someone who hasn't kept up with college football in the past 5-7 years and just knows what the talking heads tell them about UK football.
Ummm...it’s been about 10 years since Meyer was coaching against UK in the SEC...he left UF after the 2010-11 season. So the last 5-7 years is completely irrelevant with regards to the original statement.

The Jags are the Vandy of the NFL and their best player is from UK.
I don't understand why the Jags are all the sudden a coaching destination. Sure, they have slightly more cap space and draft picks than the Jets, and yes, they will have Trevor Lawrence. But that team is GARBAGE. They really should be 0-16 and have far more holes to fill. I guess Urban's Florida ties help.
But when the Jets were looking like the worst team, it was "Who wants to clean up that mess?".. I'm sorry, we suck, but Jacksonville is a far bigger mess, and a crap NFL market.

Man can coach. But many have tried going from college to NFL and failed.
