I thought it was great. Nice twist at the end. Sure there are plot holes, but bc it was good, I can look past them.

I liked it as well. I will say there was a portion of the audience that lived up to the stereotype. The end twist was the best part

Thought it was incredible.

The twist at the end actually might have been my least favorite part, just because it felt unnecessary and created some moments that you could look back on as not really making sense if that twist were really true. I don't hate the twist, and I get it symbolically and all that, and that's fine, I just didn't think it needed it.

The acting was way better than the typical horror movie. The plot was way better than the typical horror movie. The music was way better. It almost doesn't belong in the same genre.

Thoughts on the rabbits? Were they just for food because they multiply quickly and easily? Were they symbolic in a white/black way? Was each one linked to one of the tethered and had to be freed from the cage?

The final fight scene to the instrumental version of the song is one of the coolest things I've seen in a movie.

Without the twist, the theme doesn’t really make sense then. The whole idea is that since Red escaped as a child and grew up in our world and ended up perfectly normal, that there isn’t anything separating us from them. Main difference just being luck and opportunity. I guess low class/high class symbolism. My best guess for the rabbits is that they are often used in testing....similar to the tethered.

Maybe I just felt like that was implied the entire time once we learned that everyone had one. Red's first scene in the vacation house living room where she's explaining herself seemed to essentially tell us that.

I agree that the twist drives it home, but it also leaves plot holes. It does explain why Red can talk though.

The original one was a good horror flick.

My daughter watched US and said she almost peed her pants but she is 14 and afraid to go down the hallway without the light on. :joy:
