Not sure if you guys are keeping up with the political side of the news lately, but according to my professor, (doctorate in political science, served 40 years in government positions, and has connections with political officials in DC), it's about to get bad across the board for everyone. If you don't keep up with it, I emplore you to read up on it, but from news sources that are not right or left biased, but neutral. Something like the BBC, associated press, NPR, Reuters, etc.

An example of the consequences we will face:
Due to Trump getting rid of USAID entirley, tens of thousands people are out of a jobs, and USAID purchases food from farmers to feed people in other nations. Farmers make millions of dollars from USAID every year from these purchases. This will drastically decrease the already very small net income farmers earn, and, cause several farmers to literally not be able to farm anymore due to lack of finances.

Our Country is Trillions of Dollars in debt. Let that sink in and then cry me a river. America is not the Savior of the World nor are the American Taxpayers. Let someone else foot the bill for the fraud and waste for a change. Wanna guess the percentage of the USAID Money that actually went to those programs? It was pennies on the dollar. Where did the rest go? Might wanna reeeeeeeeeeee about that and stop watching the Fake News CCP/Dim Propaganda Media.

I agree that USAID should have been audited and agree with the Trump administrations attempt to minimize government waste, but these issues are too complicated to write off these kinds of posts simply as propaganda because it says stuff you don’t want to hear/dont agree with. Not saying YOU are doing this here. But a better way to fight this stuff is to engage it and squash it with researched rebuttals

The idea that your cites sources are neutral is laughable. They asked the leaders how the dem-gop split was on the staff of NPR, and the answer was all democrats. Zero republicans. But liberals view that as the way things ought to be. The associated press was banned from White House pressers because of their blatant liberal bias, until a court forced the Trump administration to allow them in. Reuters and the BBC are just as bad. Your recommendation of seeking them for neutrality is absurd.

Dude, if you’re arguing that Reuters and BBC are liberally biased then you’re falling right into this “fake news” propaganda that is ruining this country.

BBC and Reuters are right… down… the… middle…

The problem with the current admin is they have normalized dismissing information that doesn’t agree with your beliefs. It’s insane the types of information that are labeled “fake news” or “biased” these days. Neutral news sources, heads of state, government agencies, universities, even other first world nations. Insanely credible sources with millions invested in research and academics, but the second they say something you don’t like you just write them off and people think that’s ok… it’s Irresponsible and dangerous

Only someone who leans a little more than a little to the left would make that claim. I've been single for 12 years, and on dating sites a lot. A lot of women claim to be moderates. But 90% of them are liberal. A few confess that they're fiscally conservative but socially liberal. But many liberals, like apparently you, believe that their moderates, because most of the media sources make them comfortble with that.

We could argue all day. But the BBC fits in well with the general views of Europe, which is the views itself as moderate, but advocates for very liberal positions. If you think there is no such thing as absolute truth, then you're liberal. You think that truth is different for everybody. That's a liberal point of view. I claim that as someone who got his OU degree in something called Ethical and Religious Studies. I've been on that side. No longer.

The bias is on BOTH sides of the news and if one believes it’s all on one side they’re ignorant.
News is not reported these days. It is interpreted.
Fox News is as much poisoned by bias as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc. as it deifies Trump and promotes its phony self righteousness.
It’s all about dividing our country and our world by telling us we are better than those with different views.

I’m not making the claim, I linked the data that is making that claim. Don’t tell me you value your personal opinion over the meta-data behind the that graph… please don’t tell me it’s wrong just because that’s not what you think.

When you use liberal sources to define liberal sources as not being liberal, you end up with what we had in liberal media for several decades. All the FOX has done for us is give us some balance. And they've shown pretty convincingly just how far to the left the others in media have been to most fair minded people. Trump may be a bastard. But the coruption they are finding in the democrat party is astounding. And the media, who is supposed to search for those things, looks the other way, unless the person is a conservative. Then they invent stuff. The Biden corruption was hidden on purpose, just because they loved his side. That was after they reported lies about Trump multiple times, in order to try to influence public opinion against him. And in November, 2024, the majority of the American people saw it for what it was: lies and bias. That's why he's the first man in 120 years to be re-elected after losing the presidency as sitting president.

The media has been given special protection by our Constitution. In the last 50 years, they have horribly abused that, and become one-sided advocates for one party. Truth means nothing to them.

19 families wealth increased by 1 trillion dollars per the Wall Street Journal in the last year. The WSJ is a conservative publication, so I guess you’re okay with that. The real problem with this country is the insanely rich have this government in their pocket and if anyone believes they give a flying **** about people like us your fooling yourself.
And Trump, well there isn’t one redeeming quality about the man and anyone that supports him is as much a traitor to this country as he is.
You can all start firing off your Fox News talking points now.

Fox News does the saaame **** as all the other biased cites, why in the world do you view them as a credible source of news? They called trumps trial a farce but he was then found guilty of federal crimes on dozens of accounts right? So who is lying/being disingenuous, Fox News or the US judicial system?

And again, this is what I’m talking about, you are labeling my source and liberal and dismissing it as “fake news”. So what counts as real credible information these days? It’s a very dangerous road to travel, and you need to be willing at some point to consider there are things about your view (mine too) that are misled or incorrect, and that’s ok. What’s not ok is writing off things that don’t agree with you simply because you don’t like them

My guess is that most of those wealthy people were the rich guys contributing to the dem coffers. You do know that the dems outspent the good guys so much that they became the first billion dollar presidential campaign in history. Then, without any opposition from converntional media, went back to the old strategy of claiming the GOP was the party of the rich. I guess you still believe that nonsense. Middle America is who elected 47.

The truth is that he’s the worst president the US and the world has seen in my lifetime, and plenty of candidates would have been better than him. But he “champions” the middle class working American and manipulates you into thinking all other sources of information except himself are false. The proof is in the pudding: you think the dems are all crooks yet Trump has been found guilty of federal crimes, is being charged with defrauding the US as we speak, and numerous members of his old administration and former business partners have been found guilty of crimes. But for some insane reason he still gets blind backing from middle America to “fight against the corrupt dems”. And he won, and he’s destroying or foreign policy and influence and setting us back technologically by defunding key R&D in science and engineering. What a win, what a guy.

But the Dems need to put better choices up to win an election against Trump.
Hillary, Biden and especially Kamala are not going to win against Trump….or any Republican opponent.
Harris vs Trump: we must do better. Neither represent the best and brightest of our country.
