He tried to throw an unwrapped package of Oscar Meyer bacon and can of Schlitz onto the court.Did anyone see/hear what happened?
I was interested because I really can't recall a fan being escorted out like that from prime seats in my 15 years of going to games (I'm sure it's happened). WR security is not quick on the hook, and obviously there have been plenty of tense atmospheres at WR. Figured he had done something to upset the NU royalty in front of him, but I guess he just took it to another level.Student section let him have it on the way out. Had no idea what he was being ejected for.
I am very familiar with the concept of the stadium being moderated and taking out the trash. Removing trash can sometimes be very catharticWhat an a**wipe. Kudos to W-R staff for taking out the trash.
Disgusting behavior. Wisconsin fans on Twitter are letting him have it for good reason.
Well, they've specifically called on the school to determine who it was and ban him from all future Wisconsin events, which seems like a sensible thing to do?The posturing is nice, but what is anyone going to do about it?

Sensible, absolutely.Well, they've specifically called on the school to determine who it was and ban him from all future Wisconsin events, which seems like a sensible thing to do?
It’s possible that NU would have trespassed the guy to inform him he’s no longer allowed on NU property. If they did, they may have obtained his name in the process.Sensible, absolutely.
But how would you do this? Put a wanted poster at all entrances to sporting venues? Use facial recognition software? Pretty much anyone can buy tickets anonymously on the secondary market.
They may have his name which would allow say Wisconsin to revoke any type of season ticket buying, but as noted given the ease of secondary ticket sales there isn’t much of a way to keep a person out of individual games. It’s possible that NU would have trespassed the guy to inform him he’s no longer allowed on NU property. Depends on who buys the tix. Pretty easy to have your buddy buy a ticket for you and your name or info is never attachedI have bad news for you guys re: anonymity in online transactions or lack thereof.

Well... if Wisconsin Athletics really wanted to find out who the guy is, they could do it. Buying the ticket may be anonymous but he’s been caught on video.
Now I’m not necessarily recommending this course of action… but it certainly it could be done:
Step 1: Wisconsin Athletics makes a social media post asking this individual to contact them.
Step 2: Let’s say he doesn’t come forward, well you have him on video, so they can do a follow up post encouraging other fans to identify him. Probably someone knows him and is willing to rat him out (likely he acts like an a-hole to others, as well). Or, if an offer of a $10k reward is attached, then I’m 100% sure someone rats him out!
Step 3: Now you’ve got the guy’s name and contact info, let’s call him Ken Racist. They reach out and say: “Hey there Ken, here are your options: Option A you can sign an agreement that you’ll never attend a Univ of Wisconsin sporting event again (with a liquidated damages clause if you violate it), and with that we'll consider the matter to be closed.
Or Ken, if you won’t agree to Option A, then we’re reserving the right to go to Option B, which is posters of you using your real name, at every entrance to the Kohls Center and Camp Randall. Also, we’re going to make an announcement concerning an anti-racism policy, and you’re going to be the public face of it, to encourage fans never to represent our university through racist gestures, language, or other behavior... it’s your choice, Ken.
Pretty sure that would resolve it, Ken would undoubtedly agree not to attend future events. And no Big 10 fans would have to see his racist antics again.
I saw some Twitter threads and people are posting close-up photos of the guy, so it would not be difficult to identify him. These days, someone attending a highly public event where literally every person in the crowd has a camera... if they then decide to do something incredibly stupid, they've pretty much chosen their fate.
Apparently he was flipping the bird and making slant-eyed gestures toward the students. Looks like a pretty young guy.Student section let him have it on the way out. Had no idea what he was being ejected for.
I hope he's identified by co-workers (assuming he's employed somewhere) and gets fired. That will hurt more than being banned at sporting events.I think he’s in for a rough ride. This guy will get outed soon enough. Then he will get pilloried on social media and become some type of meme. I won’t feel bad for him.

What do you expect them to do? There is literally no way to enforce this."He is no longer welcome" isn't the same thing as banned from attending. The secondary market is available to him and his buffoon buddies .....
And that's probably how he got into Welsh Ryan in the first place, thanks to one of our season ticket holders looking to make a quick buck."He is no longer welcome" isn't the same thing as banned from attending. The secondary market is available to him and his buffoon buddies .....
Based on where he was located, that is likely true. And that's probably how he got into Welsh Ryan in the first place, thanks to one of our season ticket holders looking to make a quick buck.
