Give vandy credit for a good but not great defense but let's not mistake what happened yesterday. First we fumble the ball on the 3 yd line and give them 7 points. Secondly we have the ball on the five and throw a pick in the endzone. The 3rd mistake is a pick six by a rookie QB who tried to force the ball in tight hole. Now that's 14 points from us and 7 off our score. Then as if things wasn't bad enough we get punked on a Junior high football trick and give them 7 more before half. They're 21 points where gifts from us and alot of it could of been avoided. The one thing that really stands out to me is do we even practice the 2 minute drill. I mean we had the ball to take the lead late in 4th quarter against Fla. Auburn and now Vandy. Poor poor play calling and dropped passes sealed our fate all season. Let's hope we get out of our own way these last two games?

Not even a junior high school trick play, that play or any play that uses a "substitution to deceive" was banned in high school decades ago, and I think was in the NCAA also, read my new thread (first part of it only, long quotes) on the subject.

But not allowing the TD when the toe came down inside the end line before the heel came down on the line was even worse, and I am one to not ever blame the officials, very tough job, and I know from experience.
