Georgia sleepwalking. Vandy returned the opening KO to the UGA 3 where Webb scored 2 plays later. UGA's first 2 plays to start the game were penalities, have 2 dropped passes and nothing in their running game. Vandy up 7-0 midway in 1st Q.

Georgia might be a winnable game for us. It's at home too.
7 games might be manageable. I have us winning Miss St, AP and Missouri. Might add Georgia.

Maybe but UK has not been competitive AT ALL with UGA the last 3 years. Totally dominated.

I really don't think UGA is sleepwalking. I just don't think they are that good this year. They may beat us, but by their standards they aren't that special.

True - but this year will be a different game. They have no OLine and they do not have the greatest Dline either.

If we can slow their run game down like Vandy has today, we'll have a great shot at beating them.

UGA with a short FG. Stripes tried to help UGA with a bogus PI call but then UGA with 2 procedures. 7-6 Vandy midway in the 2Q.

No doubt they're struggling but they've recruited above UK for a number of years. UK's gap to success is much narrower.

Doesn't matter. (Recruiting). If that were the case teams like Southern Miss would never have a prayer against a team like KY (b/c we have our recruited them for years as well).

I also tend to think UGA made a mistake by basically running Richt out of town.

If we can contain Georgia's running game and find a way to pass the ball then we have a good chance to beat Georgia IMO. Whether or not we're able to do that is another question entirely.

Watching game has me thinking our ability to run versus Vanderbilt is more impressive than originally thought. Georgia is getting next to nothing from their run game.

I to think Georgia could be a winnable game for our Cats. I've not yet given up the hope for at least 6 wins. The SEC East is giving Mark Stoops a gift by being weaker than it's been in a long time. Can he take advantage and save his job? We'll see.

Don't doubt that re Richt. Recruiting does matter...a lot.

Really surprised at how relatively poorly UGA is playing this year. I'm trying to say no to the Blue Kool-Aid, but I'm starting to think we will at least have a shot to beat them this year.

Two observations:

#1: Mason just saved his job today. You can see his players are behind him in the way they congratulated him after the win during his handshake walk after the game.

#2: I love seeing Georgia implode. They never should have fired Mark Richt, who is going to tear it up in Miami in a few years.

Congratulations to the Dores. They earned this victory and I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

Welp, gotta give it to Stoops, beating Vandy looks more impressive now. Can't take nothing away from Vandy today, they just beat 'em straight up. UK's win last week looks better today.

Don't doubt that re Richt. Recruiting does matter...a lot.

Was so hoping that MB would have went after MR when he got rid of Joker. HIs record credibility recruiting pipeline into GA and FL would have been huge. And faith and values would not be an issue.

But would have probably turned out like Curry, so better for him that he hung on until

As to your point #1, I noticed that too. It shows they're still fighting and playing for him. I doubt he's the long-term answer at Vandy, but he definitely helped himself with today's win.

As to your point #2, I actually have liked UGA for the most part except when they're playing UK. But OTOH I'm not shedding any tears over their loss today.
