May God have mercy on their souls.

You don't want to see an angry Stoops.

I hope so. If we can come out with the same fire we did against Bama we can beat them.

I expect another moral victory. We will cover the spread when we lose and the Stoops crowd will be screaming for contract extension.

I do wonder what the line will open at for this game. I would guess we are favored by a little but who knows with 2 teams this bad.

We will be dogs in this game! Is this real life? Are you serious? UK is going to open as a 6 point favorite. Gotcha.

Kentucky will be the favorite in the game somewhere between 4 and 6. You can book that.By all means come back and tell me how wrong I am when the lines come out next week.

Vandys D is legit. We have scored 30 points in 3 SEC games. If our D plays like today it will be a low scoring field position battle

Our offense is terrible. No way we score consistently on Vandy.

Vandy will pound the ball and score on us more than we will on them imo

as bad as uk is anybody that thinks vandy will be favored on the road here has 000000 knowledge of how point spreads are made or for that matter have no knowledge of sports period..... UK was favored against south carolina after getting outscored 100-0 two straight halfs and then giving up 40 points to an awful team at home. So considering that you think vandy is going to be favored here pal ? care to place a wager on that ? might be favored by a touchdown.

No need to blow this out of proportion. Everyone in the league knows what it's like to play Vandy. Their defense is good enough to give you a scare, their offense isn't good enough to win the game.

The score will be closer than you think, but in the end it will be a UK win.

If the cats are favored by 6 and win by 5 that is not covering the spread.
True enough, but my original post(that you quote) was a response to TBCat who said we would cover the spread AND lose. The point is that both can't happen because we will be the favorite(unless, as some books do, they make it a -11/2 pick)

Lol this is UK football. I wouldn't hold it past them to lose to anyone. Also Vandy gave Florida a game and could have beaten them. They lost 13-6 to a team that UK was blown out by. I doubt the offense will score more than 17 so it's up to the defense to hold them under that. I think Vandy wins a close one not because Vandy is worth a crap but because this is UK football.

Coach does need to stop acting like an emotional DC all the time. More composure out of him would be helpful at times, though to be frank, I love some of his rants at the refs. Even when he has a point, he needs to reign it in at times. He starts to dilute his message and probably just irritate the hell out of some of the refs when he constantly exhibits a hair trigger temper. As far as the players are concerned, positive emotion is always good, but he needs to be careful about coming down hard on their errors in anger too often. You can avoid sugar coating it without screaming at kids constantly. Thankfully, he does not seem to have an issue with this.
