The sec is still within grasp. Better chances to win the sec than we had to win this game
Hopefully UNC loses too. They are down.
It’s the year for that. There’s be a ton of blowouts this year.

I know. I mean give us back the Mizzou and UNC games. How much better do we feel?
We’d be 13-4. 3-1 in conference. I’d feel ok about that considering.

Beating the worst team in the SEC should not be something the University of Kentucky should ever be celebrating. It is just heart breaking we have slid to this level. I am not sure beating LSU indicates we are any better or showing any improvement that we can get excited about. We are above this level. It is hard to imagine that UK basketball would be below UK football, but here we are.

Gross game, played poorly and Texas made a bunch of LOL shots they don’t normally make. Sean Miller is a very good coach but I like Vandy’s chances on a neutral court later this season.
Honestly, I get quite a kick out of you. Vandy has a really good team. Every team has clunker games.

No doubt about that. Our roster set up is different but in a nutshell, we have had an injury to 1 of our 3 guards and even though we’ve been 5-1 since Frankie Collins has been out, it has hurt our performances in SEC play. We played terrible vs LSU and pretty bad against Bama so the absolute dud of a game at Texas wasn’t all that surprising.
If we get Frankie back soon, I think we will begin to play at a higher level again. Frankie allows our backcourt to create chaos without worrying about foul trouble. Our 3 guards are 1, 2, and 3 in steals per game in the SEC so losing one of the 3 makes it hard to play super aggressive like we want to.
We are a work in progress right now. Started off playing great with very few off nights but as of recently, we have definitely been struggling.
Big game Saturday against Florida. Can’t wait!

if we win on an exciting buzzer beater, yes it is absolutely worth celebrating. it's just weird to call that "heart breaking". save your crying for tomorrow night at least
we all know this isn't a great season. enjoy the W's when they come and just hope that the Pope experiment ends sooner rather than later.
