Harry, Vegas is the big believer. I'am just tagging along. Last I checked, dummies don't run Vegas.
Really liked Strong, but losing to Kansas was the best thing to happen to Texas football. Because of all the young talent Strong had reeled in, he was going to get another year.

Wasn't going to pay off. Hell, just look at Foreman. He sat on the bench for 2 years behind Gray, a below average back. Strong's first year, several players went to him begging to put the best players on the field. Love the guy and wish him well at USF. Just didn't work out at Texas because his lack of detail. Complete opposite of Herman, he sleeps detail.
Not sold on your QB. You lost your best player when RB Foreman declared for the draft and last year's D was just so-so by the end of the season.
Start 2017 with Maryland, San Jose State and USC. The horns could win as many 8 or 9 games next year, but I don't see them finishing in the Top 10.

Foreman was a great back, but in the end what did he do for texas
you still ended up at 5-7. Maybe Herman will make a difference.

Would take 8 or 9 wins in a heartbeat considering the last 3 years. All I care about is finally getting any kind of momentum. Thought we were on the way after the ND game last year, wrong.
Buechelle is going to be a great QB, the only question is will he fit Herman's system where the QB needs to be a big run threat. Ehlinger coming in fits Herman's system to a T and the kid
really has the "it" factor.

Way off there champ. Texas fans have been so upset that the AD had to make a statement yesterday. Texas fans are not in the same stratosphere like the OU clan.
I've been hearing all about the talent Strong left for Herman. Here's Texas recruiting rankings last 4 years:
No empty stadium. The last 3 years have been horrible and we still averaged over 90k this year.
I go by Scout because they rank more on quality. Rivals is more on numbers.

2013: 23
If we can recruit back to back top 10 classes with losing seasons, just imagine what Herman is going to do after this year.
