He is big and I was under the impression he was a little pudgy and
I know he has a t shirt on but he doesn't look pudgy. Who is the dude in the middle ?

He has lost a fair amount of weight. He got pretty serious about the game in the past two years.

I’m hoping he has a Jah like Freshman year.. we tend to forget just how dominate Jahlil was in his year at Duke.

Oh I haven't forgotten... Okafor was beyond outstanding. I still think he was the best player in the country that year. Kaminsky was good too but ESPN started a de facto player of the year campaign for him halfway through the season, which was ridiculous.

OK, so: Vernon = Jah and Tre = Tyus. Who next? Moore = Justise? Both athletic, good on D, tough, and coming in underrated. How about Cassius = Grayson? Cassius coming in with higher expectations, but Grayson's late season contributions/heroics tough to match. Javin = Amile? Different abilities, but similar doing the dirty work styles. Let's not forget, Amile was only a soph. I think Javin can meet or surpass Amile's production. Hopefully, Jordan and Alex combined can out produce what we got from Matt. Obviously, this team doesnt have a Quinn. That will hurt. Quinn was so key, and very underrated. 15 didnt have a Matt Hurt. Then there is Jack. He could be a huge contributor-leadership wise and contribution wise. Or, his second half of the year woes could continue. I really think he could be the "swing" player. Hopefully, our returnees provide leadership and the key contributions that 15s vets did and we end the same way. What say you guys?

Vernon is bigger than Jah but let's wait until he sees the court before saying he's as good. Jah was a force down low. Arguably the best player in the country that year. I do worry about conditioning and injuries with Carey, although we have Javin as insurance.

I'll never forget Jah handling the ball like it was a softball in his palm down low, kicking the ball out to Quinn on the three point line. It was a site to see!

That fast break against Gonzaga was ridiculous. Off the bounce, he palmed it and scooped up for the finger roll on the run. A motivated Jah is going to be a big prize for the Pels.
