Are we becoming like Indiana under Tom Crean? We hit the portal hard and got a bunch of role players from their previous team. There is a reason they were role players. Pope is in over his head here. Can't coach defense at all. Can't recruit other than he did get 2 in state kids. Bad shot selection all night. We can't shoot 30 3pt shots a game if we can't make at least 38 %. I am worried about the state of the program. Great guy but a bad hire.

Tom Crean had a better coaching resume. We may end up worse
Pope has to go after this year. Need a real hire.
Not only that, we paid him big time. I love Pope and hope he has an amazing career here, but we may have been about 5 years too early on him.
I laugh at anyone that thinks Barnhardt is going to suddenly discover his balls after however many years it is being on this planet without knowing they’re down there.
