Veteran's Day Meals

I am heading for Gatti's Pizza today for a free buffet. Might hit up Bob Evans Saturday morning for breakfast. Then getting a free oil change after that at Jiffy Lube. Will follow that with lunch at Texas Roadhouse. I might wrap it up with some free pizza at Little Caeser's to bring home and give to my son after his chess tournament or eat it later.

If my wife would let me I might get another dog to give my beagle another friend to play with. So I'm definitely taking full advantage of my free veteran benefits. Is that a bad thing?

Hooter's would be my #1 choice for your uncle, too. Twin Peaks, I believe, also offers a Veteran's Day meal, as well as some attractive eye candy..

I'd thought about Denny's this morning, but decided otherwise. Plans for weekend:

Tonight: BJs Brewhouse.
Tomorrow: Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robin, Little Caesars.
Sunday: Boston Market.

I'm avoiding Golden Corral next Monday. The line was insane when attending 4 years ago.

I forgot about Golden Corral, but not a huge fan of that place after that chocolate waterfall thing came out and seeing kids double dipping into it. Haven't been back since.

Might just hit up White Castle Saturday night if they do their thing all day. That is if I have any room in my stomach. Probably will be putting on a few pounds this weekend. Oh and if I pass a Circle K along the way to all these places I might stop in and get a free polar pop. I will make sure to thank each and everyone of the places for supporting the military and the veterans. Just edited this to add more. @AustinTXCat

Thanks.

You are right. The chocolate waterfall at Golden Corral is truly gross when kids and even some idiot adults are around. It needs an attendant or robot there.

Below is a coupon for the Boston Market BOGO deal. Wife and I will go this afternoon after work, just before the BB game, and get carry out. I'll hit up BJ's tomorrow after the FB game.

Coupon.

Never have done the free meals for Veterans day. Around military post the lines are way too long.

Get him some surplus M.R.E.s. or K-rations (if he is an oldtimer).

So what places were you all able to visit? I did the Gatti's Pizza buffet and Texas Roadhouse. I decided not to do a few others just because I ate so much at the ones I did. Texas Roadhouse even threw in a $10 gift card and a card written by a student thanking me for my service. That was nice. Actually appreciated the card as much as the food. Have it hanging on my fridge.

I also got the oil change but it ended up only half off, but it still was a nice gesture. Not sure if I will be able to do any others except I think Fazolis is giving a free spaghetti today I might hit up.

Friday: Boston Market. BOGO Ribs and chicken combo = superb.

Saturday: Rode my bicycle to Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Robin. Excellent. I brought the burger from Red Robin back for my wife. One local Little Caesar's was closed while another ran out of a certain dough. My stomach filled so much from the first two restaurants, I couldn't even go out to BJs after the FB game. Of course, I also drank beer at the first two restaurants and more during the game.

Today: Schlotzsky's is an option for BOGO sandwiches.
