His shot form has changed. His base is better and his release looks a bit different (less extension).
The jury is still out on his shot and decision-making (his two biggest weaknesses). He’s an elite athlete and finisher. His ball-handling is on par for a college freshman. I’m really hoping he has a good year. I think he will.

I think his shot looks a lot more smooth than Zion's or RJ's last year. If he can hit 40% of his jumpers and play hard on defense, he'll play. How nice will that be, having an athlete like that on the wing with Tre at the point! This could be a very good defensive team (if Hurt can give us anything at that end).
I could be wrong but I think they are allowed play pick up games with pros. When they play in actual organized games with pros, like in a summer league, they have to get permission from the NCAA which is how guys can play in the Drew League. Nolan played in a summer league that was not sanctioned by the NCAA.
Which is why the NCAA can’t get out of it’s own way. A non-sanctioned league where you aren’t getting paid? GTFOOH NCAA.
