He talks about the importance of staying healthy and winning close games, scheduling ("we were the most chalk team in America this year"), young bigs Dererk Pardon and Barret Benson, and Bryant McIntosh ("I wouldn't trade him for any other guard in America"). He ends his time at the podium with a "Go Cubs!"

I keep wondering just how big of a role Brown will play this season. If he's not ready...we're in trouble.

I heard that Collins likes Brown. Also, in the last promo video, where Macintosh dishes for the dunk, the player that rotates behind him in the background is Brown (in other words he's practicing with the starters). Finally, not that it matters but Brown is closer to 6 feet than any listed height.

We need dribbling and scoring from the guards so badly that any defensive liability Brown creates is worth it.

Without projecting too much on a freshman who's played zero college games, I'd love to see us run essentially a two-PG offense with a lot of pick-and-roll.
