They might have brought 50 people very disappointing one of the smallest visiting section i can remember in a while.

Based on what I saw I'd say all 50 were UVA grads who live in the area. They often were in the company of Cards fans (with children wearing either UVA or U of L gear). Even Houston and Memphis State brought more of a crowd.

That program is really down on London. They've basically given up on the season, as good as they actually may be. They're proud enough to pull that off.

There is a reason Louisville was brought into the ACC. This thread is an example of why. We travel, and we care about the sport of kings. Can't say the same for all the league members.

I think that was the smallest traveling contingent I've ever seen by an FBS school at Papa Johns. Really surprising.

The showing of Virginia fans at the Pitt-UVA game earlier this year was very similar- very few Cavalier fans made the trip. I think the Cav's fans are really apathetic about the direction of their team and see little reason to travel to a game they most likely perceive as a certain loss. It will be interesting to see how many Cardinal fans make the trip to Heinz this weekend. In previous games here, there was always a good amount of fans dressed in Louisville colors.

I think UVA FB outplays their fans. they don't give up. They have played a lot of teams close this year, especially ND, but can't close it in the second half, fourth quarter.

This is exactly why we should be playing teams like Cincinnati in football and basketball.

UVA had more fans at the basketball game last year than they did at the football game this weekend. I don't think it is a reflection on UVA fans it has more to do with a lack of support for London.

This is the truth. I saw several people I knew wearing UVA sweatshirts because they went to school there under-grad before heading off to law school.

No offence to present company but Pitt fans don't show up at PJCS either. Maybe by comparison to UVA but otherwise considerably less than 1k and more like 500.
